My general area of research is applied spatial conservation planning. Currently my research is focused on supporting conservation decisions in the Coral Triangle, the world’s epicentre of coral reef biological diversity. I am interested in integrated land-sea planning, marine zoning, and fisheries management. I am working in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy, Wildlife Conservation Society, and Conservation International to ensure my research helps to achieve positive conservation outcomes. I obtained my PhD from The University of Queensland in 2010. I am an ARC Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Environmental Decisions Group and associated with Prof Possingham's lab.
